Maruja the alebrije by creturfetur Maruja the alebrije by creturfetur
A third alebrije, bringing me up to an average of one alebrije per year! Hopefully that will change for the better, soon. I'm already working on a new, smaller one.

Alebrijes are folk art sculptures from central Mexico, usually made of paper maché (Mexico City) or wood (Oaxaca), depicting dream monsters. I make mine out of wool.

Her name is Maruja :)

And she's for sale at the store! [link]

(lol srry bout' awkward questions)
