Needle felted Chevrotain

The greater chevrotain or mouse deer, Tragulus napu, is neither a mouse nor really a deer. They have not evolved much in over 30 million years and are considered, aside from a living fossil, the evolutionary link between pigs and deer. Instead of antlers, they have large upper canine teeth, with the male's teeth often sticking out from under its upper lip (this one, alas, does not).

He took about a month to make... but a lot of that month was taken up by "ARGH HOW DO I MAKE THIS WORK".
